The University of Leicester is one of the few universities to have won multiple Higher Education Awards (/2008) and Queen's Awards (/2004), both awarded by the Times Higher Education Awards Committee and the Royal Higher Education Commission of the United Kingdom awarded to higher education institutions that have made outstanding achievements in academic and research.
